Goatsnake take Free's average song Heartbreaker & turn it into a stunning Doom tour de force! The Dog Days EP is where my love of Doom began. I was well into Kyuss, the closest I could get to seeing them live was a QotSA gig at Portsmouth Guildhall, England, 11 June 2001, & Goatsnake were the support band, their set being the Dog Days EP which just blew me away. I discovered SUNN O))) & Electric Wizard shortly thereafter. Sometimes the stars align, or fate knows where she is taking you.
